Numbers lifted despite good falls of rain in the supply area. The quality was mixed but there were good numbers of weaners and feeder cattle. Heavy grown steers and heifers were well supplied but there were plenty of light and plain grown cattle in the mix, the cow run was plainer. The market was stronger on the weaners and young cattle to feed and to the trade but the cows were firm, restocking cows were plainer in spots but demanded similar money.

Weaner steers ranged from 550c to 650c and heifers made to 512c/kg. Light restocking steers reached 566c/kg and medium and heavy feeders ranged from 480c to 546c and heifers sold from 468c to 538c/kg. Most of the heavy trade steers sold from 480c to 500c/kg.

Prime grown steers and bullocks sold to stronger trends with the bulk ranging between 486c and 496c/kg, heavy grown heifers ranged from 418c to 478c/kg. There were very few prime heavy cows offered and the 3 and 4 score cows ranged from 376c to 445c/kg remaining firm. Leaner 2 score cows sold from 362c to 390c with restockers paying to 404c/kg. The best of the heavy bulls reached 430c/kg
