THE Dolly’s Dream foundation will be the beneficiary of a lively fundraising luncheon being held in Rockhampton during Beef 2024 in May.
Accountancy firm Moore Australia’s Women in Ag group is hosting the event, named Dining for a Dream, being held on Tuesday 7 May.
Guests will enjoy an entertaining afternoon including a delicious five-course degustation menu and selected drinks package.
The event will be hosted by national television identity and author Melissa Doyle. Special guest will be Kate Everett – mother of Dolly, and co-creator of Dolly’s Dream.
Guest speakers will be Simon and Natasha Price – presenting on empowerment, resilience, determination and breaking the stigma surrounding mental health.

Fundraising activities will include a silent auction and balloon pop event, with great prizes to be won. Live music will be provided by Brad Butcher and Aarron Symonds.
“The event is not only for women – we welcome everyone who is wanting to support Dolly’s Dream, an organisation that is committed to changing the culture of bullying by addressing the impact of bullying, anxiety, depression and youth suicide, through education and direct support to young people and families,” organisers said.
“This is going to be an event not to miss – and all with the aim of raising as much as possible to be donated directly to Dolly’s Dream.”
