Our clients require a skilled Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day requirements of the cropping plan. Priding themselves on nurturing a collaborative and open-minded workplace you will be reporting directly to the owner on a regular basis including developing annual and quarterly plans with them.
This working role will see you take on the responsibility to bring the cropping plan to fruition. To succeed you will have a detailed understanding of the broadacre cereal cycle and the tasks involved. All elements of the programme are undertaken in-house so extensive machinery operation experience along with mechanical aptitude will be required.
The ability to forward plan and strong time management skills will be invaluable as you ensure that tasks are carried out at the correct point in the cycle and that all required materials and supplies have been organised to allow staff to complete them. Upholding and maintaining the established culture is an important facet of this role and you will be confident in dealing with varying parties including agronomists, suppliers, staff etc. on a daily basis.
