An outstanding opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and experienced person to join the Alice Springs and Old Man Plains Research Farms as a Technical Officer. Located on the outskirts of Alice Springs, the Research Farms are mixed farming research and demonstration facilities focusing on beef cattle production, horticultural trials and best practice semi-arid rangeland management.
You’ll assist the Farm Manager in the daily farm activities of livestock handling, data collection and maintenance of farm facilities and equipment. Employment comes with the option to occupy a three-bedroom house on-site.
