Magowra Station is located in Queensland’s Gulf Country near Normanton. The station is a breeding property with a brahman/brahman cross herd totalling approx. 25,000 head. We have the following positions available to start from early 2025.
Head Stockman – must have previous experience as a Head Stockman; Leading Hand – must be able to communicate effectively with staff, maintain accurate stock records, plan work routines and work independently; Machinery Operator – Grader (JD770 or equivalent), Cat 938 Loader, with sound mechanical skills for machinery, equipment and vehicles; Road Train Driver – must have experience in carting the cattle with good cattle handling skills; Waterman – Duties include servicing and repairing all water facilities including windmills, Mono/Solar pumps, Kubota Engines; Experienced Cook – for up to 13 plus people. Maintain high standard of Cleanliness and Hygiene.
