Opportunities exist for a Farm Hand and a Mechanic / Farm Machinery Operator at Lawsons Angus which is located at both Yea, Victoria and Barham, NSW. Applicants should have a passion for working with Angus seedstock cattle. Primary responsibilities include the operational aspects of stock welfare and pastoral duties. The key objective is to optimise the productivity and animal performance under an intensive grazing system.
Candidates will have knowledge of : Animal husbandry practices; Be competent operating large machinery and mixing rations; Have an understanding of intensive cell grazing systems; Show a willingness to learn innovative Angus cattle breeding techniques.
