Graduate Agronomist – Cotton, Regional NSW
Cotton Seed Distributors (CSD) is Australia’s sole supplier of elite cotton varieties. The CSD Extension team work closely with all stakeholders providing excellent customer service to promote and market CSD cotton varieties, management practices and cotton research information to the Australian cotton industry, whilst developing high quality relationships and they now have a vacancy for a rotational graduate role.
Responsibilities include: Providing support to the CSD Ambassador, Agronomy and Trial programs; Developing relationships with new and existing clients providing agronomic support and services[ Liaising with growers regarding crop management practices and inputs for trials during the season and assisting with cropping plans and agronomy decisions; Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of CSD Extension activities as part of a continuous improvement cycle; Assist in facilitating adaptation and the adoption of research; Attending conferences, trades shows, field days, and industry meetings.
