Our client is seeking an experienced candidate, who is enthusiastic about Agriculture, to assist with the running of a family-owned cropping and sheep operation based at Goolgowi, NSW. As a valued hands-on staff member, you will be responsible for undertaking the day-to-day operations of the mixed farming enterprise alongside the owner and other permanent and seasonal workers, allowing you to learn and increase your experience level in all aspects of the cropping cycle, machinery operation and feedlot operations.
This role would be best suited to someone who has some experience and is wanting to further develop their skills and has the following attributes: HC licence, willing to obtain MC licence; Effective communication skills; Enthusiastic, honest and reliable; Previous cropping cycle and machinery operations experience is preferred; Mechanical aptitude and ability to maintain machinery to a high standard; Ability to work both independently and as part of a team; Chemical certificate (or willingness to obtain);Animal husbandry skills preferred but not essential.
