We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for an experienced farm hand to join our client’s mixed farming operation. We are looking for someone with solid cropping and sheep experience, with a preference for those with a passion for sheep.
The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include operating machinery for sowing, harvesting, fertiliser spreading, and spraying. Additionally, livestock management tasks will involve lamb marking, vaccinating, backlinking, drenching, and feeding. Other duties will cover general farm maintenance and servicing, local truck driving (for applicants with a valid license), and grain handling. You will work closely with the young owner and may also collaborate with casual labourers during peak seasons, such as harvest and lamb marking.
