The role of Events and Hub Extension Officer is to support the Northern Territory Cattlemen’s Association in the planning and execution of a variety of events and to support the drought resilience of pastoralists, Traditional Owners and communities in the Alice Springs region through a strong focus on pastoral, broadacre, horticulture and forestry systems and water management.
Key responsibilities include: Coordinate and facilitate NTCA-led programs and events; Assist with NTCA Annual Conference and Gala Dinner planning and organisation; Report on activities related to Drought Hub on a quarterly basis; Work with industry and partners to develop potential Hub funding opportunities inclusion in an NT Pastoral Industry Innovation and Adoption strategy.
