An enthusiastic person with cropping knowledge and plant operation skills is invited to join an established team and be involved in all aspects of the broadacre cropping cycle, including cultivation, sowing, spraying, fertilising, and harvesting. Previous cropping or machinery knowledge is desired; however, applicants with other transferrable skills, such as a trade, may suit the role.
Your employer is a family-owned broadacre cropping operation located east of Moree in Northern NSW. Managing multiple farms covering 3,700 hectares, which are utilised for various crops including wheat, barley, chickpeas, canola, linseed, and sorghum. Additionally, the employer has a small cattle herd, so staff will occasionally be involved in some animal husbandry tasks.
