This week’s Meat Business Women (MBW) conference scheduled to take place in Brisbane on Wednesday has been cancelled, due to weather.

Cyclone Alfred is hovering 450km off the southern Queensland coast, and some models have it crossing the coast later this week.

The Brisbane Portside Wharf venue for the conference has cancelled event bookings due to weather risk.

Many of the delegates to the event were due to fly in tomorrow, but airline connections are also at some risk from the weather.
