Animal Health Australia is the national animal health organisation which brings together the Australian Government, State and Territory governments, peak livestock industry bodies as well as other animal health organisations.

Animal Health Australia is seeking forward thinking, innovative non-executive directors for its board.

Applications are sought from suitably experienced persons for three part-time positions as directors on the seven person skills-based board for an initial term of four years.

Directors are eligible to apply for reselection. The three successful applicants will be nominated to the Members for appointment at the Annual General Meeting in November 2012.

To be considered for selection, applicants must be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in several fields.

Applicants are requested to provide career and personal details (not more than six pages) highlighting the areas in which they have particular skills, knowledge and experience. The names and contact details of three referees are required.

Applications should be submitted by COB Friday, 7 September 2012 to The Chair, Selection Committee, Animal Health Australia, Unit 15, 26-28 Napier Close, Deakin, ACT 2600.
