NLRS Roma market sale commentary

Yarding 3232 Change -1946

Prices dropped 11c to 13c/kg for feeder weight store cattle with several feedlot buyers not at the sale. Less feedlot buyer competition for light weight yearling heifers meant restocker buyers were able to purchase heifers at 12c/kg cheaper on average. Cows were firm in price to 5c/kg cheaper to processor buyers. Steer calves sold to 412c and averaged 380c, down 5c/kg. Light weight yearling steers sold to 356c and averaged between 331c and 340c/kg.
