A total of 2040 head of cattle were consigned at Roma’s Store Sale.

Weaners under 220kg topped at 406c/kg and averaged 385c/kg, while weaner steers in the 220-280kg range reached 398c/kg and averaged 370c/kg. Steers in the 280-350kg range reached 371c/kg and averaged 345c/kg, and steers in the 350-400kg range reached 337c/kg and averaged 322c/kg. Feeder steers in the 400-550kg range topping at 338c/kg and averaging 314c/kg.

Bracco Cattle Company, Amaroo, Roma, sold Hereford steers to 406c/kg for 206kg to return $836/head. The Angus-cross heifers sold to 342c for 191kg to return $653.

R & B Lawton, Merinovale, Jackson, sold crossbred steers to 406c for 184kg to return $750.
