Numbers were similar and the quality was again good with most of the cattle having plenty of condition and weight.

Yearlings were well supplied and there was a good selection of trade and feeders through the sale.

There were a couple of feeder orders more active on the heavy weight yearlings and 2 and 4 tooth steers.

Prime grown cattle were well supplied and around 1500 cows were penned.

The feeder steers lifted 3c to 4c on the medium weights but jumped 20c on heavy weights, medium weight feeders sold from 340c to 430c and heavy weights reached 408c before averaging 390c/kg.

Heifers to feed were 10c to 15c cheaper with most selling from 280c to 320c/kg. Heavy trade steers were 20c dearer selling from 367c to 404c/kg, trade heifers went in the opposite direction falling 20c with the bulk selling from 300c to 345c/kg after topping at 360c/kg.

Prime grown steers and bullocks were firm to 7c dearer after a strong start most sold from 331c to 387c and feeders in the same categories were stronger selling from 338c to 398c/kg. Grown heifers were 5c dearer and topped at 378ckg. Medium weight cows were up 7c to 10c while the heavy weights were firm. Medium weight 2 score cows 245c to 295c and heavy weights 260c to 348c/kg
