Dalby finished the year with a good yarding of 5,417 cattle, 200 less than the previous week.

Some very good lines of feeder steers and heifers were yarded.

Plenty of competition on restocker cattle and feeder lines.

Slaughter cattle were back a few cents, still very positive.

The Dalby area is needing rain, with some very good crops of sorghum just starting to flower.

The first Dalby sale of 2017 resumes on Wednesday, January 11.
